There are leads and enquiries up for grabs on Google Maps but you do need to earn the right to be featured and enough reviews to be considered.

It’s always a good idea to put yourself in your potential client’s shoes.

In this case, we wanted to show you how important Google reviews can be to get more mortgage leads.

Example 1 – Mortgage Broker Chester Le Street

Pia Financial Solutions

After searching “Mortgage Broker Chester Le Street” we discuss the importance of getting reviews for your Head Office and not just your satellite offices.

With Google Reviews you review the location not the business.

The PIA FS head office GMB listing could earn a position in the top 3 brokers for chester le street, but without any review s they may not get any leads from it.

Example 2 – Mortgage Broker Norwich

Yellow Brick Mortgages

Just to prove it’s not all about reviews you’ll see that Yellow Brick have 88 Google Reviews (A decent number!) which is more than some of the other mortgage brokers being featured.

They also have over 1500 Trustpilot reviews.

They would likely get more enquiries from those visiting their website (as you don’t see the trust pilot reviews on their Google Maps listing).

Example 3 – Mortgage Broker Southampton

Vivid Mortgages
With 24 mortgage reviews on the Vivid Mortgages maps listing (some times enough to be featured in most areas) it is well behind the other featured brokers in Southampton.

So although with some work they may get featured in the top 3 they wouldn’t get as many enquiries as their competitors without more reviews.
