There are about 350 searches on Google UK for a “Bridging Loan Broker” and Google delivers a local result rather than a national one.

This means that the Google Map Pack is displayed which features three local(ish) Bridging Loan Brokers.

SEO Experiment On Bridging Loans

In the video above you’ll see that sometimes Google displays it’s map pack.

This normally means that it’s displaying a local result rather than a national one.

For the high volume search terms like “Bridging Finance” (Over 3k searches each month) and “Bridging Loans” (Over 18k searches each month) it normally shows a national result; making it harder for you to be featured.

However, we did notice a quirk when Alex can see Market Harborough Building Society’s bridging finance page rank on page one when Tom didn’t.
