“People buy from people” never more is this statement true than in dealing with the financial services industry – where building trust in individuals to impart knowledge and products, in return for investment of peoples hard earned cash. Relationships built on understanding, trust and expertise. However it is not always easy to build relationships, close sales and obtain repeat business with personality differences.
Using MBTI can support you to develop your sales skills to find ways around interpersonal barriers, reducing conflict, increasing your chances for collaboration, understanding your customer better to develop long term win win relationships and most importantly repeat sales.
The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) tool is globally the most widely used psychological type indicator and has numerous applications across team building, group working and in the sales environment.
The purpose of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) personality inventory is to make the theory of psychological types described by C. G. Jung understandable and useful in people’s lives. The essence of the theory is that much seemingly random variation in the behavior is actually quite orderly and consistent, being due to basic differences in the ways individuals prefer to use their perception and judgment.
Its aim is to allow individuals to understand both themselves and others better so that they can flex their style to allow better/ more effective communications.
The objectives of the MBTI sales workshop will be;
- To provide a basic introduction to MBTI
- To provide a brief overview to identify your own MBTI profile
- To provide an introduction to MBTI and its role in sales within your business
